A new lineup of OTT releases is set to premiere this week on Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and Disney+. Subscribers are in for a treat every day as the streaming platforms bring in many shows and movies from a wide range of genres. Upcoming OTT releases on Netflix and other streaming platforms

Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and Disney+ are the four most-accessible OTT platforms. Every week, new releases premiere on the streamers, including movies, TV dramas, foreign-language projects, documentaries, stand-up comedy specials, and reality TV shows. This week, Netflix will have the maximum number of releases, especially this Friday.

June 5 — Barracuda Queens

Netflix is all set to premiere a girl gang heist drama, Barracuda Queens, on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 3.01 am ET. Starring, Alva Bratt, Tindra Monsen, Sandra Zubovic, Sarah Gustafsson, and Tea Stj?rne, the series will revolve around a group of girls in debt who start robbing neighbors’ houses. The storyline is inspired by real events.

June 7 — Arnold and Love Is Blind: Brazil


On Wednesday, Netflix will air a documentary called Arnold. The limited docu-series is based on the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The official synopsis reads:

“This intimate docu-series follows Arnold Schwarzenegger's multifaceted life and career, from bodybuilding champ to Hollywood icon to politician.”

The documentary will also feature James Cameron, Danny DeVito, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sylvester Stallone.

On June 7, the streaming platform will also premiere a reality TV show, Love Is Blind: Brazil. Hosted by Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo, season 3 will welcome singles looking for a life partner.

June 8 — Never Have I Ever


The most awaited Netflix show, Never Have I Ever, is all set to return with a brand new season on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 3.01 am ET. Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the teen comedy-drama revolves around the life of Devi, played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.

While fans are excited for season 4, it is unfortunately the final installment where Devi will be seen in her senior year.

In addition to Never Have I Ever season 4, Netflix will also premiere a docu-series, Tour de France: Unchained.

June 9 — Bloodhounds, The Playing Card Killer, and more

Netflix comes with a lot of treats this Friday, June 9, 2023. The shows and movies that will premiere include Bloodhounds (Korean series), Human Resources season 2 (animated sitcom), The Playing Card Killer (documentary), Tex Mex Motors (reality TV show), This World Can't Tear Me Down (animated comedy series), The Wonder Weeks (comedy movie), and You Do You (Turkish rom-com).


June 5 — The Age of Influence

The Age of Influence will feature the dark and nasty side of social media and influencers. The official synopsis reads:

“From sweeping cons to viral cancellation campaigns, watch as these taste-makers become caught in the controversial crosshairs of their own curated online worlds.”

The Hulu original series airs on the streaming platform on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 12.01 am ET.

June 7 — Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs


Hulu will premiere a reality TV show, Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs, on Wednesday. The plot follows 10 Muslim American sisters who have one motto — “family over everything.” But their secrets come in between their bond.

In addition to the sister drama series, the streamer will also release the first season of the TV drama show, Somewhere Boy.

June 9 — Flamin' Hot

Eva Longoria wears her director hat as she is all set to launch her movie, Flamin' Hot. The official synopsis reads:

“The inspiring story of Richard Monta?ez, the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn the iconic Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon.”

It will air on Friday, June 9, 2023, on Hulu and Disney Plus.

June 11 — 53rd Annual Los Angeles Pride Parade

Hulu will stream the Pride Parade in Los Angeles and New York City. Titled the 53rd Annual Los Angeles Pride Parade, the two-hour live event will also air on the KABC channel.


June 8 — My Fault (Culpa mía)


My Fault (Culpa mía) is a Spanish movie, available in many languages, that is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

The storyline will be about the forbidden love between Noah and her step-brother Nick.

June 9 — The Lake

Season 2 of The Lake will premiere on Friday on Amazon Prime Video. To understand the new season’s plot, take a look at the description of the show. It reads:

“Justin is determined to make this summer his best yet. Unfortunately, his plan goes up in flames when his fireworks blow up the boathouse. Everyone blames Justin, but he knows he’s innocent. He just has to prove it. Maisy's mother Mimsy shows up to spend her “last” summer with her family. In addition to The Lake, the OTT platform will also premiere An Unforgettable Year - Autumn (Um Ano Inesquecível - Outono), a Portuguese romance drama.


June 9 — Flamin' Hot


Along with Hulu, Disney Plus will also premiere Flamin' Hot on the same day, which is Friday, June 9, 2023. The Eva Longoria-directed film is based on Richard Monta?ez, the Frito Lay janitor who created the lip-smacking snack, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
