Established in 1959 the Kansas City Chiefs compete in the AFC West Division of the National Football League. The Kansas City Chiefs is currently owned by Clark Hunt, whose father the late Lamar Hunt founded the franchise. He has been instrumental for the recent successes of the Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs are valued at around $3.7 billion as of 2022.
